EV.10 EVENT SITE ACTIVITIES
EV.10.1 Onsite Registration
EV.10.1.1 The Accumulator must be onsite at the time the team registers to be eligible for Accumulator Technical Inspection and Dynamic Events
EV.10.1.2 Teams who register without the Accumulator:
a. Must not bring their Accumulator onsite for the duration of the competition
b. May participate in Technical Inspection and Static Events
EV.10.2 Accumulator Removal
EV.10.2.1 After the team registers onsite, the Accumulator must remain on the competition site until the end of the competition, or the team withdraws and leaves the site
EV.10.2.2 Violators will be disqualified from the competition and must leave immediately
EVS.1 ACCUMULATOR
EVS.1.1 Accumulator Overnight
a. Each night, the accumulator must be placed in the provided Accumulator Storage Tote before the team leaves the event site
b. The accumulator and accumulator container are the only vehicle components allowed in the Accumulator Storage Tote
Reminder: EV.4.10.2 and EV.11.4.2 apply when moving accumulators and accumulator containers.
EVS.1.2 Accumulator Storage Tote
a. Each team is assigned a tote for their accumulator
There will be two different sizes of totes
b. The Accumulator Storage Tote will be located in a designated area onsite away from the team paddocks
c. Each team will be issued a pallet cover and a pallet band (large rubber band) for additional water protection
d. Teams must not modify their tote
Onsite Process:
- Teams will be assigned an overnight storage unit by a volunteer.
- Teams will use the same unit for entire week.
- Teams will need to check in with volunteer to mark accumulator turned in nightly before the mandatory 7:30 PM time.
- If leaving the site early, Teams need to ensure a volunteer marks their accumulator turned in. When in doubt, visit the EV Tech area.
- Teams can retrieve the accumulator any time the next morning.
