In early September SAE launched a plan for the 2021 CDS Competition Season that encompassed all five of the traditional Collegiate Design Series programs. Since that announcement, we have been pushing out announcements on deadlines, event logistics and changes using the newsfeed and monthly newsletters. The document has been updated to include all those changes as well as additional information as we continue planning the logistics for the competition season. Revisions can be identified as text in red font.
Teams will notice that dates for Formula SAE Michigan and California location designation have been removed. We are calling specific attention to these items in this news post not to cause alarm but to assure you we are working on the event logistics for competitions that will happen this summer. Changes are taking place and we are currently in talks for both competitions; unfortunately we just cannot announce anything official until all parties are in agreement.
We encourage all teams to stay registered at this time. Required payment for Michigan initially due Friday, March 5th will be postponed until a new competition date is confirmed and published.
