Formula SAE Electric is thrilled to announce that, thanks to a generous grant from a foundation, all 100 registered teams for the 2025 competition will receive the required new energy meter receptacle units free of charge.

In fall 2024, Formula SAE Electric submitted a grant proposal to a Foundation with the aim of supporting the development and manufacturing of the new energy meter, enhancing onsite operations through newly implemented download stations, and covering costs for free receptacle units for the 2025 competition. The grant also includes funding for initiatives tied to the future growth of an autonomous class for SAE operations.

Registered teams must complete the required Excel template available under Formula SAE Electric - Competition Resources - Files and submit it via the team's document submission area. A new document submission has been created. To ensure timely distribution, teams are requested to submit this information no later than Monday, January 13th.
