Cockpit Internal Cross Section Template Test

Question
May the Internal Cross Section template move vertically while travelling horizontally forward?
If so, how much vertical travel will be allowed?
Answer
Vertical movement of the Internal Cross Section Template is allowed.

- The Cockpit Internal Template will be held vertically and may be translated vertically while traveling the length of the cockpit.
- There is no set limit to vertical travel allowed in this template test.

This test is intended to represent the feet of an incapacitated driver being pulled out of the car by staff - so there will be a test of reasonableness applied to how much it can translate vertically up and over components. i.e. a driver's feet would have to be able to follow the same path without getting hung up on sharp changes in direction
