2025 FSAE Event Dates, Locations & Reg Dates
Registration will open Thursday, October 3rd for Internal Combustion, Formula Hybrid, and Formula Electric. Payment will be expected 2 business days after your invoice has generated (~72 hours after registration secured). As usual, registration will be held at https://www.sae.org/attend/student-events at 10:00 AM Eastern.

Pre-Registration
Teams who have placed top 10 overall in the 2024 season will be awarded the opportunity to register up to one week prior to registration opening to the general public. The registration is restricted to the correlating event location of the previous year. Aka, if you were a top ten placement team for IC class in 2024, you will have the ability to pre-register for the IC competition 2025 event. You may not swap classes. 2024 top placing teams will be able to pre-register starting the 26th at 10:00 AM EST Here is the complete list of 2024 pre-registration eligible teams. Pre-registration WILL apply to Formula Hybrid this year!
Waitlist Info:
- waitlist teams do not pay until offered a registration spot
- waitlist teams must submit all required documents to maintain waitlist status
- waitlist teams will have 24 hours to accept or decline a registration list offer
- waitlist closes one month prior to event
