Both Formula SAE competitions taking place in May and June of 2022 at Michigan International Speedway will not see the use of the Tech Quiz for priority line of technical inspection.

Tech order will continued to be assigned but will be assigned by the organizer this year. Based on some practices implemented in 2021, the tech areas (specifically mechanical and electrical scrutineering) are reviewing their process and how teams are being reviewed.

SAE will provide more details when the information becomes available. This information will also be included in event descriptions which will be published on the Formula SAE app for each competition location as we get closer to the competitions.
