GM is delighted to inform you that the winner of the Excellence in Technical Innovation Award at FSAE EV in 2026 is Penn Electric Racing from the University of Pennsylvania.

To the UPenn Electric Racing team, as mentioned on site, GM has your registration fees covered for next year’s competition (including any price increases)! Upon registering, you will not need to pay the reg fee. Should you not make it onto the 2027 entrant list, the prize may be used for the 2028 competition season, but no season after that. Other SAE University Program teams at UPenn are not permitted to use this voucher (i.e.: if an FSAE IC team is created while this EV team remains).
