Important Communication Reminder

While we try our best to communicate things clearly with our University Program teams, sometimes we feel like our messages can get lost in the shuffle. Please make note of the following guidelines and make the required adjustments to help US help YOU.

  1. Log in to your Competition Website and scroll to your Community Member box and click on "Manage Email Preferences" to make sure that you are receiving all emails.
  2. Click on your Inbox tab on the top bar > Click on Preferences > Make sure you have "Messages from user" checked for both Inbox and Email - this will guarantee that you do not miss any important messages from SAE like waitlist promotions or missed payment deadlines.
  3. While you are in your Inbox preferences please make sure you have important notifications turned on for categories like Cost, Document Submissions, Deadlines etc.

We also want to clarify that when you have a question or concern, it is best practice to submit a ticket to our team at support.sae.org

While our Customer Service department can answer some basic questions or assist with payments, they serve the entirety of SAE, not just University Programs. You will get a faster, more thorough answer by submitting a ticket to our team. Our Customer Service department is only available from 8:00-5:00 EDT and may not always be available to take calls. We kindly ask that you submit a ticket before calling to help lighten their influx of calls.
